New compressed biogas project approved in Angul district

The Odisha State Government, via the State Level Single Window Clearance Authority (SLSWCA), has recently granted permission for a total of seven industrial projects, reports Business Standard.

One of these projects is a 100 kilolitres per day, grain-based ethanol facility, along with a 12 tpd CBG (compressed biogas) and 2.2 MW co-gen power plant. The facility shall be developed in Angul district, by Newalt Energy Private Limited.

The investment entailed in this project shall amount to INR 1.25 billion (EUR 14.2 million).
