New feasibility study for Deonar project

The implementation of the discussed WtE plant in Deonar, Mumbai, remains unclear. Although Tata Consulting Engineers Limited (TCEL) was hired for a feasibility study in 2016, the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has now appointed further consultants to scrutinise the feasibility of setting up a WtE plant. As reported in earlier sources, the plant should treat 3,000 tpd and produce 25 to 30 MW of energy. The name of the consultants recently appointed are not disclosed in the article, which was published by the Hindustan Times.
