New information on WtE plans in Indore

According to new reports by Waste Management World, the planned WtE plant in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, should reach treatment and generation capacities of 1,000 tpy and 11.5 MW respectively. Earlier sources had announced a planned capacity of 10 MW. The project would be eligible for a central government subsidy of INR 240 million (USD 3.6 million). The Indore Municipal Corporation (IMC) announced to start the tender process soon. In 2015, companies Jindal Power and Ramky Enviro Engineers were reported to be bidders for the project.
