C&D waste processing plant planned for Wagholi

Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) is to set up a C&D waste processing plant at Wagholi, Maharashtra. It will be the second one in India after an installation in Delhi from 2011. According to The Pune Mirror, the facility is planned to recycle construction material and segregate bricks, tar as well as other materials using modern machinery. Construction work is expected to start soon, lasting approximately 6 months.
