New machinery to convert MSW into RDF in Noida

New machinery converting MSW into RDF should end legal and health problems caused by waste dumping in Noida, according to the Hindustan Times. The Noida authority hired an agency using advanced machinery, which makes transportation easier, by compressing waste and thereby reducing the quantity by up to 30%. Gained soil through the machine will be used to fill trenches in the city. Noida produces 660 metric tons of waste daily and until now, the city does not have a landfill.
