The Margao Municipality, Goa, is reportedly considering setting up a plasma gasification plant at the Sonsodo landfill for regional waste management.
According to the Municipality, there will now be studies conducted as to whether the technology could be suitable and beneficial for Goa. A specific project has not been announced.
Representatives of the Municipality, together with several representatives of the Goa State, recently visited a plasma gasification plant set up by start-up company Ms GD Environmental Pvt Ltd in Pune, Maharashtra.
