New project in Greater Noida starting RDF production in October

Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority (GNIDA) is about to open a 400 tpd legacy waste remediation plant, producing RDF, at the Lakhnawali landfill site in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh. Trials have started recently and the inauguration is due for 2 October 2021, reports The Times of India.

GNIDA had awarded the contract worth INR 230 million (EUR 2.6 million) to Brazil-based company Antony Lara Enviro Solutions Pvt Ltd, in consortium with AG Enviro Infra Projects Pvt Ltd. When operational, the waste, as further stated, can be processed into RDF, manure, and further recycled products.
