New solid waste management complex planned for Dumka

A new solid waste management complex has been approved for Dumka, Jharkhand. It is to be set up on a plot of land in Thadi village, 10 kilometres outside of Dumka.

According to the source, waste processing at the plant is to include disposal, recycling, as well as energy generation, however, this is not further specified. Information on the planned capacity or time schedule is also not provided in the source.
