New WtE planned in Aurangabad

The civic body of Aurangabad, Maharashtra, has announced that a Waste-to-Energy plant will be constructed in the city to solve its garbage disposal problem. According to The Times of India, the expression of interest (EOI) for the project would be floated soon. The plant is likely to begin operations in the next one year after commencement of construction. The plant’s location and the technology to be used are yet to be revealed.
