Remediation plan needed for Bhalswa landfill

The Bhalswa landfill, which was declared as exhausted in 2002, still receives about 2,000 tpd of waste generated by North Dehli, according to the Hindustan Times. The North Delhi Municipal Corporation (NDMC) has now published a tender for a study on the Bhalswa landfill remediation. According to the source, NDMC is looking for a consultancy firm to suggest a remediation plan for the site.
