New WtE plant under construction in Shivri

As reported by The Times of India, a new waste management plant is currently being built in Shivri. The facility, which has been designed to convert 1,500 tonnes of waste into 15 MWel per day, belongs to the Lucknow Municipal Corporation. The corporation stated that five turbine generators have been purchased form a Delhi-based private company for installation at the plant. The electricity generation at the plant will be monitored by Eco Green.
