NGT seeks WtE report from CPCB

According to The Economic Times, the National Green Tribunal (NGT) has assigned the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) that it should submit the so-called inspection report on WtE and thermal power plants located in New Delhi within one week. Reportedly, the inspections were already carried out at various WtE plants, including Okhla, Bawana and Ghazipur and the thermal power plants in Rajghat and Badarpur. However, according to the council set up in December 2015 and headed by an NGT Chairperson, the final reports are still awaited. The reports should include Information on O&M as well as air quality.
