The Noida Authority’s attempt to engage a company to recycle approximately 60 tonnes of flower waste produced each month has yielded no result. According to Noida officials, no company has responded to the Expression of Interest floated by the Authority earlier this month. The tender will go out for a bid again.

The Noida Authority is looking to employ a commissionaire to build a facility to recycle floral waste into environment-friendly goods like incense sticks, and organic colors. For this, the authority instructed the interested parties and NGOs to give a description of their organization along with the method by which they intend to offer a workable and long-lasting solution. However, no responses were received, reports The Times of India.
