NTPC received three fuel supply bids for Dadri Power Plant

Indian public utility NTPC has received three bids for its tender for supplying 1,000 tpd of fuel based on agricultural residues, as the Economic Times reported. The three companies offered to supply 250 tpd each, with NTPC paying EUR 68.58 (INR 5,500) per ton. As reported, NTPC plans to co-fire the fuel at its 2,650 MW Dadri Power Plant. The delivery is scheduled to begin in September 2018.
