As was reported by The Times of India, the state government of Odisha has approved Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation’s (BMC) 600 tpd WtE project. As said, the facility will treat solid waste and should generate 11 MW of electricity. According to an older source, BMC’s plans have already received clearance by Odisha’s Pollution Control Board (PCB). Earlier this year, it was said that Hitachi Zosen India will supply technology to the plant.
