Tender process for reopening of Bandhwari RDF plant

According to an official of Haryana’s Department for Urban Local Bodies, a tender is currently being held for the reopening of the defunct Bandhwari waste treatment plant near Guragon. as reported by The Times of India, the site, which includes an RDF and a composting unit, has been defunct for around 3 years because of a fire incident. As said, the bidding process will be finished by 15 December. Additionally, the state government is also considering to set up a WtE plant in Bandhwari, which would serve the municipalities of Guragon and Faridabad.
