Editor The government of India’s federal state of Odisha and the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) have agreed to build a proposed WtE plant near the BMC’s Bhuasuni landfill. However, it is not clear whether this means that a planning permission has been granted. As was reported by Orissadiary, the plans for the 12.5 MW facility were stated to have already received clearance by the responsible Pollution Control Board (PCB). As said, a site access road to the plant site is already under construction.
