Operations of WtE plants hindered by piles of RDF

The operations at five RDF plants in the Southern Indian state of Karnataka seem to be hold up by the accumulation of massive piles of RDF. According to The Hindu, the facilities at Chikkanagamangala, Doddabidarakallu, Kannenahalli, Seegehalli and Subbarayanapalya are affected by this and have all stopped operations by now. The amount of piled-up RDF is said to encompass around 20,000t and it has been decided to bury it in the outskirts of the affected cities in order to make room for operations at the said WtE site again. Besides RDF, masses of unprocessed compost contribute to the blockade of the plants as well.
