Panaji RDF plant with increased capacity

The Waste-to-Energy plant in the city of Panaji, Indian state of Goa, has increased its throughput remarkably over the first eleven months of operation. According to Nyoooz, the facility processes around 120 tpd of waste. The increased intake has also led to increased production of RDF, biogas and compost at the plant. The electricity produced is being used to power the plant itself. Surplus energy has been reached for the first time in February 2017. The Goa state government now considers constructing a similar plant in the village of Bainguinim soon.
