Patalganga medical waste plant should start in 2 years

The Bombay High Court has now requested that the biomedical waste (BMW) plant in Patalganga, Maharashtra, should be completed within 2 years.

As of August 2023, the High Court asked the state and civic authorities to reduce the time for setting up the project. To achieve that, the environmental impact study is to be conducted immediately and the contractor, SMS Envoclean Pvt Ltd, is to make efforts to reduce the construction and commissioning time from 13 to 12 months.
