Suzuki agrees on 4 new AD projects in Banaskantha

Automobile company Suzuki Motor Corporation has signed an agreement for the development of four biogas production plants in Gujarat.

The agreement was concluded between Suzuki R&D Center India Private Limited, National Dairy Development Board (NDDB), and dairy manufacturer Banas Dairy. Plans provide to commission four new AD plants in the district of Banaskantha, Gujarat, by 2025.

Total investment for those four AD projects is estimated to amount to INR 2.3 billion (EUR 25.2 million). The projects should produce biomethane as fuel for the transportation sector by upgrading the generated biogas.
