Under the current plastic waste management rules, plastic bottle producers will need to set up recycling plans for the recycling of PET bottles in order to continue producing. According to The Hindustan Times, the Maharashtra government also wants to provide incentives for the use of glass bottles. On this account, it will ban plastic water bottles in all hotels as of March 2018.
