Pune civic body wants money for waste transportation

The Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) has proposed an allocation of Rs 7 crore to relocate construction and other waste from the city to another specified location.

Municipal commissioner Mr Vikram Kumar presented a proposal to the standing committee for allocation of funds for debris transportation, reports Hindustan Times. The standing committee has said it will consider the proposal.

PMC intends to transport this waste from the city to a specified location, where it will be separated and processed.
