Punjab approves further nine biogas proposals

The Chief Minister of the federal state of Punjab has recently granted in-principle approval for nine biogas projects to be located across the state, according to Outlook India. The projects would entail a combined investment of INR 9 billion (EUR 112.3 million). All of these projects, as further reported, would have the same capacity as the recently approved straw-processing facility by Verbio India Private Limited in the village of Bhutal Kalan, Lehragaga tehsil, Sangrur district.
