According to Mercom India, the Rajasthan Electricity Regulatory Commission (RERC) has published a draft of terms and conditions for biogas and biomass energy tariffs, which includes specific terms for several types of equity. The tariffs will be determined individually for qualified projects. Comments and suggestions may be submitted to the RERC until 21 January, 2019. The new regulations will come into force from the date of notification, which is not specified.
