Ramnagar AD plant to start in December

Building works for the biogas facility at Parag Dairy in Ramnagar, Uttar Pradesh, are expected to be completed by December 2022. As of June 2022, commissioning was scheduled for October 2022.

The plant is expected to produce 4,000 m³ of biogas. Throughput capacity should be 100 tpd of cow dung. As stated in an earlier report, the plant is being constructed by the National Dairy Development Board (NDDB) at costs of INR 240 million (EUR 2.9 million). According to the current source, the plant is being constructed under the supervision and responsibility of the Indian Dairies Machinery Company (IDMC).
