RDF scheme in Ahmadebad faces problems

An RDF scheme in Ahmadebad, Gujarat, faces problems regarding the composition of local waste volumes. As stated by The Times of India, only 700 tpd of the 1,300 tpd of wet mixed waste committed to be converted to RDF production is actually suitable for the process, mainly because of non-segregation of low-calorific material. It was furthermore criticised that the state government did not provide subsidies for RDF production.
