USD 1,000 billion investments expected in energy sector

As reported by Enerdata, the Indian Ministry of Power is expecting to attract investments of USD 1,000 billion by 2030 for the national coal and renewable energies sectors. By 2020, USD 1 billion go to renewable energy projects, USD 50 billion to electricity transmission and distribution and another USD 5 to 7 billion to the purchase and renewal of industrial equipment.
