ReNew signs WtE MoU with Maharashtra government

Clean energy company ReNew has announced to have signed an agreement with the government of Maharashtra for investing INR 140 billion (EUR 1.7 billion) in establishing renewable energy plants in the state. According to a report by the Economic Times, ReNew Power Ventures proposes to invest EUR 725 million in establishing solar power plants, EUR 725 million in wind power and EUR 250 million in Waste-to-Energy facility in the next 5 years.
