Editor In a visit by the Municipal Commissioner to the Chandigarh garbage processing plant, it was discovered that RDF produced from garbage in the plant is just lying fallow. The visit was aimed to assess the processing of the garbage in the plant and also the working of the composting plant. As reported by The Times of India, the commissioner along with others took stock of the plant. Besides other issues, matter related to the trial run of the composting plant was given more attention. The composting plant was expected to be launched in November but is still undergoing installations.
