RIL launches tenders for 50 CBG plants

Multinational oil refining company Reliance Industries (RIL) has started a tendering process for 50 CGB plants in India, which should all be completed within the next 2 years.

According to the source, 56 more tenders should be issued soon. RIL is investing INR 50 billion (EUR 557.87 million) into the projects. Plans provide for each plant to process 250 to 500 tpd of organic waste to produce up to 20 tpd of CBG.

RIL plans to approach sugar mills in order to secure feedstock such as sugarcane press mud for the plants.
