SDMC to install AD plants at two dairy farms

As part of the implication of the Solid Waste Management Rules 2016, the South Dheli Municipal Corporation (SDMC) is intending to build two 200 tpd biogas plants. As reported by The Times of India, they will be located at the Goyla Dairy farm and in the Nangloi colony, both near Delhi. Tender for both projects are finalised and will be awarded by the end of September. The plants are estimated to cost about INR 160 million (EUR 1.92 million) each and process up to 200 tpd of cattle dung as well as fruit and vegetable waste.
