Indian Oil Corporation Limited’s (IOCL) R&D unit has inaugurated a biogas demonstration biogas plant in Faridabad, Haryana. According to PSU Connect, the plant processes 5 tpd of organic waste to produce compressed biogas, which will be supplied free of cost to a public school in Faridabad. The Municipal Corporation of Faridabad will supply separated kitchen waste to the plant.
