Srinagar to install underground bins

The Srinagar Municipal Corporation (SMC) is planning to install underground bins in various locations across the city. Each day, around 506 metric tonnes of waste are collected in all wards of Srinagar city.

The department has also issued tenders for the installation of underground bins in various locations throughout Srinagar, including downtown Srinagar.

The SMC has identified 29 locations for the installation of underground bins, reports Rising Kashmir.com
