Starlinger delivers 2 new recycling plants to India

Austria company Starlinger Group is to supply two PET bottle recycling lines to Indian plastics manufacturer Srichakra Polyplast. The recycling lines are to be delivered in early 2024.

Srichakra Polyplast has already been operating a Starlinger PET recycling line at its production site in the state of Telangana since 2021.

Starlinger customer Ganesha Ecopet, a subsidiary of recycling company Ganesha Ecosphere, also operates two Starlinger plants in Telangana. Ganesha Ecosphere is reportedly one of the largest rPET producers in India, with 130,000 tpy. The company recycles approximately 18% of the country’s total PET waste, as further stated in the source.
