Bidadi WtE plant to be operational in October

The WtE plant in Bidadi, Karnataka, is now scheduled to start operations in October 2023. According to the source, civil works have been completed and the equipment is currently being assembled.

The 11.5 MW plant is then to process 600 tpd of dry waste. The project by Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) and Karnataka Power Corporation Limited (KPCL) was designed and constructed by Hitachi Zosen India Pvt Ltd.
