As reported by The New Indian Express, the state budget of Karnataka has allocated INR 2,300 crores to the Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) administrative body for 6 projects this year, including a 400 tpd WtE plant. However, it is yet unclear if the said plant is the one currently being pursued by 3Wayste in Chikkanagamangala.
