Tamil Nadu Electricity Regulatory Commission (TNERC) has determined new generic tariffs for electricity produced from WtE projects at INR 6.28 per KWh. As reported by Mercom India, The new tariff will be effective from 1 April 2019 onwards and will be applicable for a period of 20 years, for WtE plants with a generation capacity of 1 MW and above.
