Editor As The Times of India reports, Chandigarh Smart City Company Limited has tendered the INR 40 crores mining project to clear the garbage dump in Dadumajra. In a period of 180 days, 500,000 tonnes of garbage have to be sorted and cleared. RDF produced from the waste will be sold to cement companies, whereas the construction and demolition waste will be delivered to a C&D plant, which will be constructed.
