Two WtE projects planned in Mysuru and Hubballi-Dharwad

According to The Times of India, the local administration of Bengaluru, led by the Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP), plans to carry out two new WtE projects in Mysuru and Hubballi-Dharwad. The Mysuru plant should have an envisioned intake capacity of 155,520 tpy of waste and the project report is said to be in its final stages. The BBMP plans to issue tenders for the project soon. The local government will provide the land for the project and the Mysuru plant is also expected to be connected to the local grid. However, no further details have yet been revealed on the Hubballi-Dharwad facility.
