Uflex to build recycling facility in Noida

Uflex Ltd., a packaging firm, has announced the investment of INR 5 crores in a pyrolysis plant at its site in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, as well as in a plastics recycling facility. The pyrolysis plant, operational since October 2018, has a processing capacity of 6 tonnes of waste per day, mainly plastic film. This accounts for 60% of the waste generated daily at the Noida plant. Uflex is currently awaiting approval for the plastics recycling facility from local authorities. This has been reported by Plastic News.
