According to The Times of India, the implementation of the Agra WtE project, Uttar Pradesh, seems to make progress. Reportedly, a power purchase agreement was signed on 6 October, between the Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation Limited (UPPCL) and Czech company Spark Bresson Private Limited. The latter is planning on starting construction works next month already. The Agra Municipal Corporation (AMC) is head of the project and has been working on the project for the last three years. The location of the new WtE site will be the former landfill in Kuberpur. Construction works should be completed within 18 months and the new plant will produce around 10 MW of electricity.
