Editor According to India’s North Corporation, the tender process for the WtE project in Bhalswa, Delhi, has officially been launched. The existing landfill in Bhalswa has been overflowing recently. An inspection of the respective landfill site in Bhalswa was carried out by India’s National Green Tribunal (NGT) in March 2017 and led to the conclusion that a new WtE facility was needed at the site in order to cope with all the waste deliveries. However, no further details have been revealed on the project so far, as was reported by The Times of India.
