As reported earlier, a partnership deal has been signed between Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) and a French company for establishing a WtE plant in Chikkanagamangala, Karnataka. Recent information from the Bangalore Mirror has revealed that this company name is 3WAYSTE. A 500 tpd plant that will generate 8 to 10 MWel will be set up by the company in Chikkanagamangala. The plant is projected to be completed by December 2018. The generated electricity will be sold to Karnataka Power Transmission Company Limited (KPTCL).
