Reportedly, the DPR must include details on the plant’s social impact as well as a technical and financial assessment. It should be submitted by early November 2021 at the latest. According to earlier information also reported by SWI, IIT Ropar will formulate the report for WtE technology of dry waste and for wet waste management at the existing composting plant by enhancing its capacity, and for the processing of horticulture waste.

After finalisation of both the DPR and RfP report, the MC will float tenders and allot the work.
