The Greater Visakhapatnam Municipal Corporation (GVMC) has announced that the commissioning of the 17 MW WtE facility in Kapulupada, Visakhapatnam, will commence in late 2019. As reported by The Hindu, construction of the INR 130 crore project was originally scheduled to begin in 2017, with commencement of operations expected by December 2018; however, the development had not started until 2018.
