Editor According to the newly elected mayor of Kolhapur, Maharashtra, the plans for a new WtE project in the area are still not off the table. Due to the fact that the local landfill is currently overflowing, the mayor now aims at implementing the new WtE project as fast as possible. As reported by The Times of India, plans for the project had first been introduced more than 2 years ago. Reportedly, all paper work for the project has already been completed, but construction works have not yet started.
