Update on WtE project in Jaipur

As a reaction to Jaipur’s bad result in a cleanliness ranking, union urban development minister Venkaiah Naidu has announced to start working on the implementation of two WtE plants in August. As stated by the source, Times of India, partners for the plants in Jaipur and Jodhpur, Rajasthan Region, have already been identified and power purchase agreements are being developed. As reported in January, the plant in Jaipur should treat 230,000 tpy.
