Uttar Pradesh to set up biogas plants at cow centres

The state government of Uttar Pradesh has announced plans to set up compressed biogas plants in PPP mode in all cow protection facilities in the state.

The plans provide to build block-level cow centres, each of which could house 2,000 to 3,000 cattle for the production of cow products. The report does not provide further details on the biogas facilities to be erected.
