WtE plans in Warangal progress

Greater Warangal Municipal Corporation (GWMC) wants to implement a waste-to-energy facility at the Rampur dumping yard in Warangal, Telangana. The throughput capacity of the planned facility is estimated at 300 t/d. The GWMC plans to invest INR 300 million into the implementation of the project. As previously reported, a feasibility study was conducted by a Japanese delegation in February. According to Telangana Today, the authority will release the tender for the plant soon.
